Christine M. Eng, M.D.

Professor of Molecular and Human Genetics

Dr. Eng is Professor of Department of Molecular and Human Genetics at Baylor College of Medicine and Chief Medical Officer and Chief Quality Officer of Baylor Miraca Genetics Laboratories.

Dr. Eng, a pediatrician and medical geneticist, joined Baylor in 2000. She has been recognized for contributions to the implementation of genomics in clinical practice. She is senior author of articles in the NEJM and JAMA regarding exome sequencing and is principal investigator of the Genomic Sequencing Core for the NIH Undiagnosed Diseases Network.

Dr. Eng received her BA from Yale University and her MD from Tulane University School of Medicine.
